Book Review

EVERMORE BY ALYSON NOEL

So I finnished reading evermore last week. After reading all 4 books of twlight a few months ago, I was in search of books that were in the similar genra fantasy romance type books. And so far I have read a few after twlight that I have realy enjoyed...(ill put out book reviews for those later). But I was also in search for other series books that were also in that same category. Well Evermore is the 1st book of a series as well. I honestly thought it was a great book, I got really ingrossed into this book as well, I finnished this book in a couple of days as well. It is about a girl who can read everyones minds except for the new kid in town. She has been through allot in her life and and she feels so comfortable with the new kid. And this book has a great romantic story and throughout the book you feel suspenseful, like you want to keep reading to see what happens next. I really liked this book allot and I recommend it to anyone who liked twlight and doesnt know what to read after twlight. Oh yeah and the 2nd book to this will be released in August, just incase you really get into the book.

Book and Movie review

So the first book review is on THE READER BY BERNARD SCHLINK.

I persconally loved the book, it was a pretty fast read. The book was based in the post nazi germany era, where a 15 year old boy meets a 30 year old woman, and begins a relationship with her. Then she takes off and it goes into him going to law school. Without ruining the book for anyone else these are my reviews...... You find out later in the book why she acts the way she does to the boy in the early years. He ends up being apart of her life later in the book in a very unordinary way. Through out the boys life, nomatter what happens he cant take her off his mind, in a wierd way. Basically she changes his life in a drastic way which changes him as a person for the rest of his life.

Now for the movie THE READER DIRECTED BY STEPHEN DALDRY

Of course in my personally opion the book is better than the movie. But I always think the books are better than the movies becuase the books are so in detail. And of course in the movies they leave out parts because they have to make it a certain lenght long. But I do have to say it was good, and Kate Winslet played the role very amazing. And if you did not read the book and you just saw the movie you probably would like it. but the movie is a Drama and it is slow, but it tells the story better that way. but I do think the characters in the book match the movie characters quite well.

So today we are going to Alexias fabulous falcon assembly at her school. She got fabulous falcon of the month for her class, and she gets an award for this. Then I will go to work late and say goodbye to everyone because today is my last day ..... yea!!!!! i put my notice in and im going to meet everyone after work for dinner to celebrate my departure. Then we will go to the desert for the day on saturday. Then on sunday i think ill do some deep cleaning to my car, there is so much crap in there from the girls, and from taking 4 kids to school in the morning. Then on monday starts my studying and working on the rest of my stuff for school. I start June 22, that seems far away but its still so close, and i have allot of crap to do before then to get me prepared. Anways hope everyone has a great weekend.

P.s. i was thinking about posting books ive read or am currently reading for suggestions, then post movies that i have recently seen or will see and post my opnion on them, and any resturants i havent tired or will try. So if anyone is still blogging out there feel free to do the same or recommend any. kind of want to keep myself busy with my schedule so i dont get out of wack...... I like being busy and having a schedule its so much easier :)

A weekend to always remember

So my husband did the most romantic thing that i have ever experienced in my life. Seriuosly one of the best moments in my life.

First he dropped off the kids at my parents house to spend the night. Then he surprised me with a hotel room in Mission Valley, then when i walked in the room, he had rose pedals and candels all over the room and a card on the table saying how much he is in love with me. Then he told me to get ready for dinner. When i walked out of the bathroom dressed in my brand new outfit for dinner I notice a cute little blue bag on the bed.... yup thats right.... tiffany and co. He got be BRACELET, and he picked it out himself. After he put it on my wrist , he pulled out an expensive bottle of champaign, and he said the front desk will call him so that way they can open the bottlw for us b4 we go to dinner. So Dominic gets the phone from the front desk, so we head downstairs. Well i was wondering why we passed the front desk and headed out the front doors.... well there was a limo waiting in front of the hotel. And it was for me :)... When we got in the limo it was decorated and dominic had our song playing in the limo as we were in there. Then when we started driving we pulled up to benihana's for the most wonderful dinner I had in a very very long time. And as the dinner ended we walked out to the limo and the driver poped open the bottle of champaign , and we drank in the limo over the coronado bridge and back to the hotel. And of course we ended the evening in our hotel room.. I almost cryed the whole night, and that is the most romantic experience I have ever had my entire life....

Ok so its been awhile since the last post. Well my schedule has been crazy so i havent been able to post for awhile. nothing to much going on. Alexia is doing good in school, which she loves. Briana is talking like crazy..... except of course when people are around.... j/k. We got back from the desert this weekend, and nothing to much else i can think of right now. ill post pics soon......

And just wanted to sat hi to Christle, Aries and graeson..... call me whenever you guys want.... love you all and miss you :)
