Lisa how moving. I know this first hand because the Christian organization that I work for does Operations in this form. It is so unforseen that we as Americans (no matter our ethnic background) have the peace and salt that we have neglected to share. The web link was very open and it goes to show that more should speak less and do the more part. I had a dream that I was a photographer on a missions trip. My work will pay you once a year to do a one week mission. If my husband was not going on cruise, I would be right there in the brunt of it all. I find that I want to photograph extreme situations... makes me question journalism. But I only see the big wigs making front page, and a thousand less students getting noticed. Perhaps one day I can go on a mission trip and take you with me. I will tell you that Uganda is hurting, also do your research on Kenya. It is a blessing to sleep in a bed with a roof over our heads. It is a blessing that my husband is fighting for our peace, yet, the ones he fights gets NO peace. Touchy, I know. :)

Bless you!

Your words mean allot, and it means more that you would want to take me with you. The invisible children has an office in spring valley. I emailed them about doing some voleenter work once Alexia starts school. I also let them know that I want to do a screening and get everyone I know to see the screening. Hopefully they email me soon to let me know. I cant wait for us to live close to each other so we can do these things together and come up with our own ideas. Last christmas i raised toys for the saint vincent de paul homeless shelter. I was so proud of myself that I started it and finnished it. Now I want to really try and make a difference. Since I had children I always want to help people or try and change the world, I know its silly but I really do want to make a difference.

Lisa, what you are doing is so wonderful. People tend to forget that there are more unfortunate ones than themselves because they are so engrossed with their own little problems they do not even know what is happening around them. Even I am guilty of that sometimes. You are a truly a supermom! I learn a lot from you. Keep up the good work! Take care always!
